Linde air-heated vaporizers are heat-exchangers for evaporating and superheating of cryogenic fluids, as are oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and the like, using the heat of ambient. The fin element can be lined with stainless steel tube for high-pressure and special applications as well as electropolished tube for semiconductor applications.
Applications
The main application for a air-heated vaporizer is the conversion
of liquid gases for procedures like:
Metal processing, e.g. welding
Medical technology
Electronic
Water treatment
Energy
Food industry
Environmental technology
Characteristics
Find below some characteristics of Linde air-heated vaporizers:
The vaporizer performance is strongly dependent on ambient
conditions
It consists of an aluminium finned tube
For vaporizers up to 120 Nm³/h a direct connection at the tank
is possible
